The Taste of Croatia Golf Tournament will bring the Croatian Canadian community together in Ontario on September 11, 2026, combining golf, Croatian cuisine and community networking at Glen Eagle Golf Club in Bolton. The 23rd annual event will give participants an opportunity to celebrate their heritage while spending the day with friends, families and members of the wider community.
Registration and lunch will begin at 10 AM, followed by a shotgun start at noon. The day will conclude with a cocktail reception at 6 PM. Participants can choose between a full foursome and hole sponsorship package or an individual golf and cocktail reception package.
Both options include food, access to the driving range, the evening reception and gifts. One of the tournament’s most distinctive features is its focus on authentic Croatian food and beverages. Selected holes will offer Croatian products, allowing participants to enjoy flavors from Croatia throughout the day.
Organizers are also inviting food, beverage and dessert producers to become tasting sponsors. The opportunity allows businesses to showcase their products directly to attendees while supporting the annual community event. This combination of golf, Croatian cuisine and business participation has become a central part of the tournament’s identity.
The event also has an important educational and community component. The Canadian Croatian Chamber of Commerce is offering four free spots to Croatian Canadian students enrolled in post secondary education. Volunteers are also being invited to participate, creating opportunities to meet, network and become more involved in the community.
Beyond the sporting event, the Taste of Croatia Golf Tournament supports the Croatian Canadian Scholarship Fund. Sponsorship contributions help support the fund while giving businesses opportunities to promote their brands through tournament signage, the official tournament book and other event activities.
With availability described as extremely limited, organizers are encouraging interested participants to contact the Chamber to register or join the waiting list. The 23rd Taste of Croatia Golf Tournament is expected to provide another full day of sport, Croatian culture and networking in Ontario.
