Macedonian-Australian comedian My Cousin Vlad is bringing his stand-up comedy to Chicago on October 24, 2026, with a show inspired by Balkan family life, immigrant experiences and cultural traditions.

The performance will take place at The Den Theatre in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood.

The comedian has attracted an international audience through his social media videos, which have received millions of views.

His comedy explores the everyday experiences of growing up in a Balkan immigrant family in Australia.

Balkan Humor Comes to Chicago

My Cousin Vlad is known for his observations about marriage, parenting, family gatherings and the differences between Balkan traditions and modern Western life.

His performances combine storytelling, character impressions and improvisation.

The Chicago show will also feature comedian Ryan Radusinovic, founder of Balkan Comedy Night.

Radusinovic has appeared on CBS and Amazon Prime. He has also participated in major comedy events, including the Netflix Is a Joke Festival.

Together, the comedians will bring different perspectives on Balkan culture and immigrant life to the Chicago stage.

First Show Sold Out, Additional Performance Scheduled

The event will take place on Saturday, October 24, at The Den Theatre, located at 1331 North Milwaukee Avenue.

According to the venue’s official website, the 7 p.m. performance has sold out.

However, a second performance is scheduled for 9 p.m., with tickets listed through the theater’s official booking platform.

For members of Chicago’s Macedonian and wider Balkan communities, the event offers an evening of comedy built around familiar cultural experiences.

It also introduces audiences from other backgrounds to the humor and traditions of Balkan immigrant families.
