An 18-year-old man was arrested in Washington after reportedly running toward the United States Capitol with a loaded shotgun.
Police said the suspect was wearing a tactical vest and gloves at the time of the incident. He complied with officers’ orders and put the weapon down when instructed.
The incident occurred less than three months after a National Guard soldier was killed and another wounded in an ambush near the White House.
