Mucunski in Vienna for Talks with Austrian Ministers on EU Integration and Economic Cooperation

Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski is set to hold separate meetings in Vienna with Austria’s Minister for European and International Affairs, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, and Minister for Europe Claudia Bauer, as part of the Macedonian government delegation led by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski.

The visit is expected to focus on North Macedonia’s European path, the country’s recent progress, and the next steps in strengthening ties with Austria. Discussions are also likely to cover opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation in several areas of shared interest.

Alongside the political meetings, Mucunski will also take part in a business forum bringing together representatives of economic associations from both countries. The event is intended to highlight the strong economic links between North Macedonia and Austria, while opening the door to fresh investment opportunities and closer cooperation between businesses from the two markets.

The Vienna visit comes as Skopje continues to seek stronger political support and deeper economic partnerships with key European partners.
