Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting was part of Vučić’s schedule of bilateral talks with world leaders and international officials during his visit to New York.
Meeting Held During UN General Assembly
Before meeting Landau, Vučić participated in a high-level discussion focused on protecting children’s rights in the context of artificial intelligence.
The event examined a proposed coalition for protecting children in the age of AI and explored how artificial intelligence could be used as an operational tool.
The discussion was organized by French President Emmanuel Macron, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Kenyan President William Ruto and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
Vučić Holds Series of Bilateral Talks
During his visit, Vučić also met EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas and several presidents and government leaders attending the UN gathering.
The Serbian president was scheduled to continue holding bilateral meetings with representatives of the international community during his stay in New York.
