Luka Dončić Sets Championship Goal as Lakers Prepare for New Season

Luka Dončić is entering the new season with high ambitions in a Los Angeles Lakers jersey, and his goal is clear: to compete for the NBA championship.
The championship title, because if that’s not your goal, I don’t know what you’re doing here. I would like everyone, including myself, to give their maximum every day,” Dončić said.
Following the departure of LeBron James, Dončić has taken on the role of the team’s biggest star and will carry even greater responsibility in the new season.
“Obviously, this is a new challenge. I’ve been in this situation many times throughout my career, so this is nothing new. I feel great and I’m excited,” he added.
Dončić did not play for the Slovenian national team this summer, giving him additional time to rest and prepare for the upcoming NBA season.
“I hadn’t played for the national team for a long time, so I had the opportunity to get a little more rest. Mentally and physically, I’m in great shape,” the Slovenian star said.
