Croatian-American students have more time to apply for five scholarships worth $1,000 each. The Association of Croatian American Professionals (ACAP) has extended its Fall Future Leaders Scholarship deadline to November 15, 2026.

The program supports college students of Croatian heritage across the United States. It rewards academic success, community involvement and a commitment to Croatian-American connections.

ACAP announced the new deadline on November 3. The extension gives eligible students another opportunity to seek financial support for their education.

Who Can Apply for the Croatian-American Scholarships?

The ACAP Foundation offers five awards of $1,000 each through its Future Leaders program.

To qualify, applicants must have Croatian ancestry. They must also attend an accredited U.S. college or university as full-time undergraduate students during fall 2026 and spring 2027.

In addition, applicants need an active ACAP Student Membership. The annual membership costs $25.

The foundation considers academic achievement and involvement in community activities. It also values students who want to strengthen connections between Croatia and the United States.

How to Apply Before November 15

Students can find scholarship information through the official ACAP website.

The organization encourages eligible students to review the application requirements before submitting their materials.

The extended deadline is November 15, 2026.

Beyond financial assistance, ACAP helps young Croatian Americans build professional connections. Its programs also support mentorship, education and career development.

For students with Croatian roots, the scholarships offer both financial support and a chance to stay connected with their heritage.

More information is available on the official ACAP scholarship website.
