Zelensky Warns Putin May Be Preparing New Mass Mobilization in Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia could be preparing a new wave of military mobilization as Moscow continues its war against Ukraine.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine has information suggesting that Russian President Vladimir Putin may be planning to increase the number of troops involved in the conflict in the coming months. He said Kyiv must be prepared for possible new military pressure and continue strengthening its defense capabilities.

Zelensky claimed that Russia is facing growing difficulties with troop numbers due to battlefield losses and that additional mobilization could be aimed at replacing those losses and expanding military operations.

The Ukrainian leader also warned that Moscow may seek additional support from foreign partners and increase its military presence, urging Ukraine and its allies to remain prepared for further escalation.

Russia has not officially confirmed plans for a new large scale mobilization. The Kremlin has previously relied on recruitment campaigns and other measures to maintain the size of its armed forces during the ongoing conflict.

The war between Russia and Ukraine continues to be one of the biggest security challenges in Europe, with both sides facing pressure over military resources, manpower and long term strategy.
