Jokic dishes seven assists in limited action
Jokic finished the game with three points, three rebounds and seven assists during his limited appearance, while also adding one block and one steal.
Despite spending only 14 minutes on the court, the Serbian center made his presence felt primarily as a facilitator, creating opportunities for his teammates and orchestrating Denver’s offense.
With the regular season approaching, the Nuggets kept Jokic’s workload limited during the preseason contest.
Markkanen leads Utah to 109-97 victory
Lauri Markkanen led the Jazz with 17 points in fewer than 14 minutes, connecting on three shots from beyond the arc.
Bosnian center Jusuf Nurkic also contributed to Utah’s victory, finishing with four points, five rebounds and four assists.
Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk added nine points off the bench, hitting three three-pointers as Utah secured the 109-97 preseason win.
The matchup gave both teams an opportunity to test their rotations and prepare their key players ahead of the start of the 2026-27 NBA regular season.
