The Fifth District AHEPA Cancer Research Foundation will present its 2026 cancer research grants during its 38th Annual Evening of Celebration on Saturday, November 7, at Pines Manor in Edison, New Jersey.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at 2085 Lincoln Highway and feature dinner, dancing and live music. Black-tie attire is optional, and a cash bar will be available. Admission is $150 per person, according to the event flyer.

This year’s celebration follows a $10,000 donation from Delaware Valley Purchasing Group, described by Sammy J. Thomas as the largest single contribution in the foundation’s 38-year history. The donation will help fund cancer research grants in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Over the years, the foundation has supported research at prominent medical institutions, including Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and Weill Cornell Medicine.

The annual gathering brings supporters together around the foundation’s mission of advancing cancer research and helping medical institutions pursue work aimed at improving cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to confirm ticket availability by emailing celebration@fifthdistrictahepacrf.com. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
