Trump Comments on Nicki Minaj’s Appearance at Michigan Rally: “That’s Hard to Miss”
US President Donald Trump drew attention at a campaign rally in Michigan after making a public remark about rapper Nicki Minaj’s appearance, prompting reactions across social media.
The rapper joined Trump onstage in Port Huron over the weekend, wearing a gold Gucci outfit and encouraging the crowd to support Republican candidates ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.
However, it was Trump’s comments about her appearance that became one of the most widely discussed moments of the event.
Trump’s Remark About Nicki Minaj Goes Viral
During his speech, Trump turned the audience’s attention toward Minaj and commented on her figure.
“I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before, Nicki Minaj. That’s hard to miss,” Trump said.
He then asked the rapper to stand up and reportedly added that he hoped she had not taken offense.
As Minaj left the stage, Trump praised her again.
“She’s never looked more beautiful. She gets it. She’s smart,” he said.
A video of the exchange circulated on X, where users questioned the appropriateness of the president’s remarks at a political event.
Some commenters expressed disbelief, while others criticized the focus on the rapper’s appearance during an election campaign.
Nicki Minaj Calls Herself Trump’s “Number One Fan”
Minaj, who traveled to the event aboard Air Force One, expressed enthusiastic support for Trump and the Republican candidates.
She described herself as his “number one fan” and told the audience that his presidency had changed the atmosphere in the United States.
“He’s given us a future to look forward to,” the rapper said.
She also encouraged support for Republican candidates, describing the upcoming elections as an important moment for the country.
The Michigan rally took place amid a competitive Senate race between Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Abdul El-Sayed.
Trump also drew criticism for remarks about El-Sayed’s Muslim faith and background. The Democratic candidate described the president’s statements as Islamophobic.
Meanwhile, Minaj shared a lighthearted video filmed aboard Air Force One in which she pretended to interview for a White House communications position.
Her appearance at the rally highlighted her increasingly public support for Trump, while his comments about her appearance became a separate topic of discussion online.
