Anja Mioč, a competitor representing Bodybuilding and Fitness Club Spartak, has won the world championship title in the Wellness Fitness over-168 cm category at the World Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships in Santa Susanna, Spain.
After finishing as the world runner-up last year, Mioč returned to the international stage this year and claimed the gold medal, achieving a major milestone for herself, her club and her hometown of Subotica, Serbia.
The victory carries particular significance because the competition was held under the IFBB, the official international bodybuilding and fitness federation recognized by Serbia’s Ministry of Sport.
A Major Achievement for Club Spartak
Igor Šikora, Mioč’s coach and president of Club Spartak, expressed great satisfaction with the team’s achievements this year. Šikora himself won a world bodybuilding championship title last year.
“We have had an exceptionally successful year. In addition to winning the national team championship, we have also brought a world championship gold medal back to Subotica. We are proud of Anja’s success and everything we have achieved together. This is the result of hard work, discipline and dedication,” Šikora said.
He added that the club would continue working to promote bodybuilding and fitness in Subotica and inspire more people to become involved in the sport.
“We will do our best to make our sport even more popular and bring more top medals to Subotica from major competitions,” he said.
Mioč’s achievement is another example of how commitment, perseverance and professional coaching can lead to outstanding results at the highest level of international competition.
