Luka Doncic delivered a historic NBA performance as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Toronto Raptors 131-125. The Slovenian superstar finished with 45 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and five steals.

According to the NBA, Doncic became the first player in league history to record at least 45 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, five steals and five three-pointers in a single game.

His performance helped the Lakers secure another victory early in the 2026-27 season.

Doncic Delivers Historic Performance

Luka Doncic dominated the game against Toronto with his scoring and all-around play.

He made 12 of his 23 field goal attempts and converted all 13 free throws.

Additionally, Doncic recorded four steals in the opening quarter alone.

The Lakers needed his production against a Toronto team coached by Serbian basketball coach Darko Rajaković.

Despite Toronto’s efforts, Los Angeles maintained its advantage and secured a six-point victory.

The result gave the Lakers their fifth win in seven games.

Slovenian Star Continues Remarkable Start

Doncic has opened the new NBA season with exceptional scoring numbers.

Following his performance against Toronto, he was averaging 37.7 points per game, according to the NBA’s November 2 report.

He also became only the third player since 1960 to score at least 225 points through his first six games of a season.

Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain were the previous players to reach that mark.

Meanwhile, Lakers coach JJ Redick praised Doncic’s extraordinary production following the game.

The performance adds another milestone to the Slovenian guard’s NBA career.

For basketball fans in Slovenia and across the Balkan diaspora in the United States, Doncic’s latest achievement offers another memorable moment from one of the region’s most recognizable athletes.
