Donald Trump: “Big Day in Iran” as U.S. Strikes Hit Key Targets

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that American forces carried out what he described as successful strikes on multiple targets in Iran.

“Big day in Iran. Long-sought targets have been eliminated and destroyed by our great military — the best and most lethal in the world. God bless you all!” Trump wrote.

The conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran began in late February, when U.S. and Israeli forces launched coordinated attacks on Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure.

The situation escalated rapidly after the initial strikes reportedly killed several high-ranking Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Iran responded with missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. and allied positions across the Middle East, including bases in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, as well as strikes on shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz.

Now in its fifth week, the conflict continues with sustained attacks from both sides, raising concerns about a broader regional escalation.
