Šoškić takes a step forward: Macedonian guard joins South Florida

Macedonian national team player Andrej Šoškić will face a new challenge in the NCAA after officially completing his transfer to the University of South Florida. After announcing his departure from Stony Brook some time ago, his next destination in the United States has now been confirmed.

South Florida competes in the American Athletic Conference and finished last season in an impressive second place, highlighting the club’s strong ambitions.

This move marks an important step forward in Šoškić’s career, following a solid season with Stony Brook. The Macedonian guard averaged 10 points, 2.4 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game—numbers that helped him earn a transfer to a higher-level program.

With this transition, Šoškić will have the opportunity to further develop his game and prove himself on a bigger stage.
