Dejan Kulusevski Returns to the Balkans, Visits Family in Ohrid

Swedish football international Dejan Kulusevski has spent part of this week in the Balkans, beginning his visit in Ohrid, where he met with family and reconnected with his Macedonian roots.

The Tottenham winger, who has built his career in both Italian and English football, has often been linked with his family background in Macedonia. His visits to Ohrid are not unusual, as he has previously spoken openly about his heritage and personal connection to the region.

After his stay in Macedonia, Kulusevski continued his trip to Serbia, where he attended the well-known Belgrade derby between Partizan and Red Star, one of the most intense football rivalries in the Balkans.

The visit comes during a challenging period for Kulusevski at club level. Tottenham have been going through a difficult season, while the player himself has spent time away from the pitch due to injury.

Despite the sporting setback, his trip to the Balkans drew attention from fans in the region, especially because of his connection to Macedonia and his continued interest in local and regional football culture.
