Great Honor for Bosnian Referees: Konjicanin Brothers to Officiate Champions League Quarterfinal Derby

Bosnia and Herzegovina referees Amar and Dino Konjicanin have received a major honor after being appointed to officiate one of the key matches of the EHF Champions League quarterfinals.


The Bosnian refereeing duo will be in charge of the second-leg clash between Füchse Berlin and Veszprém, a matchup considered the derby of this stage of the competition.The first leg, played in Hungary, ended with a narrow 35–34 victory for Veszprém, leaving everything open ahead of the return match in Berlin. With a place in the Final Four at stake, a highly competitive and intense game is expected.

The appointment of the Konjicanin brothers for such an important match is further confirmation of the trust they enjoy and their growing reputation on the European handball scene.


The match between Füchse Berlin and Veszprém is scheduled for Wednesday at 18:45, with the winner advancing to the Final Four.
