EU Allocates €65.7 Million to Macedonia Under Growth Plan

The European Commission has made €65.7 million available to Macedonia under the Reform and Growth Facility, Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski announced.

According to Mucunski, this is the highest amount allocated in this phase among the countries covered by the latest decision, compared with €49 million for Albania and €44.2 million for Montenegro.

Of the total amount approved for Macedonia, €30.6 million will be transferred directly to the state budget, while the remaining funds will be used for investment projects through the Western Balkans Investment Framework.

Mucunski said the decision represents recognition of Macedonia’s reform progress and the government’s commitment to meeting obligations under the Growth Plan and moving closer to European standards.
