Several schools in Zagreb were placed under emergency security protocols this morning following bomb threats, triggering the immediate evacuation of students and teaching staff.
According to confirmed reports from multiple educational institutions, school directors activated emergency response protocols without delay, leading all those present to exit the buildings while waiting for the relevant authorities to arrive.
Police responded with a heightened presence on the ground, and specially trained explosives detection dogs were brought in to assist with the checks. Detailed inspections are currently underway at all affected schools.
The Zagreb Police Administration has not yet issued an official statement on whether classes will resume later in the day once the security checks are completed.
