Dusan Vlahovic Set to Leave Juventus as Contract Talks Collapse

Dusan Vlahovic is expected to leave Juventus at the end of June after the two sides failed to reach an agreement over a new contract.

The Serbian striker, who joined Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022 in a transfer worth more than €80 million, is now set to become a free agent when his current deal expires on June 30.

According to reports, Vlahovic met with Juventus officials for a final round of negotiations, but the talks did not produce a breakthrough. With no extension agreed, the 26-year-old forward is now preparing to leave the Turin club.

Vlahovic’s season was affected by a serious muscle injury that kept him out for more than four months and required surgery. Despite the setback, he scored 10 goals in 23 appearances for Juventus this campaign.

Since arriving at the club, Vlahovic has played 168 matches and scored 68 goals for the Italian giants.

His availability as a free agent is expected to attract major interest across Europe. Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Barcelona have reportedly made contact with his representatives, while Napoli are also believed to be monitoring the situation.

Napoli’s interest could become even more significant if Massimiliano Allegri, Vlahovic’s former coach at Juventus, takes over as manager.

For Juventus, the potential departure marks a major financial and sporting blow. A player signed for one of the biggest fees in the club’s recent history could now leave without a transfer fee.
