Čukarički Sign Young Winger Aires Nankue From Portugal

Serbian club Čukarički has continued strengthening its squad ahead of the new season, adding young winger Aires Nankue from Portuguese side Estrela Amadora.

Nankue, born in Guinea-Bissau on December 10, 2006, has signed a contract with the Belgrade-based club through 2029. The 19 year old primarily plays as a left winger and arrives after previously spending time in Portugal with Caldas and Mafra.

The move is part of Čukarički’s wider summer recruitment drive. Before Nankue’s arrival, the club had already brought in three new players: Koby Ebere from Everton, Andrej Bajović from Dečić, and Zlatan Šehović, who joined on loan from Dukla Prague.

Čukarički are currently holding preseason training in Slovenia, where they have already played three friendly matches. They lost 2-0 to Romanian side Argeș, before recording wins over Slovenia’s Olimpija, 3-0, and Croatia’s Rudeš, 4-3.

The Serbian club is scheduled to face Slovenian champion Celje on July 4 before returning to Belgrade the following day.
