Sea Dance is set to begin in Budva on August 28, bringing some of the biggest names in electronic, dance and regional music to the Montenegrin coast. The festival will gather internationally recognized performers whose songs have collectively generated more than 4.4 billion streams, creating a lineup built around some of the biggest hits of recent years. Among the artists scheduled to perform are HUGEL, Charlotte de Witte, John Newman, DARA, Enrico Sangiuliano, Boris Brejcha, Burak Yeter, Who See and Bad Copy. The festival is expected to provide one of the biggest music events of the summer on the Montenegrin coast.
One of the biggest attractions will be French dance star HUGEL, who arrives in Budva after a successful year on international charts. His song Movin’ To The Sun reached the top of several major dance and digital music charts, while his other hits have accumulated hundreds of millions of streams. John Newman will also bring some of his best known songs to the festival, including Love Me Again and Blame, which together have generated more than two billion Spotify streams. The lineup also includes DARA, who will perform Bangaranga, the song that won Eurovision 2026, giving festivalgoers the chance to hear one of Europe’s biggest recent hits live on the Adriatic coast.
The electronic music program will also feature major names from the international techno and dance scene. Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano are expected to bring their version of The Age of Love, which has become one of the most recognizable techno tracks of recent years. Boris Brejcha will perform his distinctive high tech minimal sound, while Burak Yeter will bring his global hit Tuesday to the festival. The song has surpassed one billion views on YouTube and hundreds of millions of Spotify streams, while also reaching audiences in more than 95 countries. Regional favorites Who See and Bad Copy will add a local and Balkan flavor to the lineup with some of their most recognizable songs.
For the audience, Sea Dance is expected to combine international stars, regional performers and a seaside festival atmosphere in Budva and the nearby Bečići area. Organizers have highlighted the huge popularity of the artists and songs included in this year’s program, with billions of streams reflecting the global reach of the music coming to Montenegro. Free registrations were previously closed after strong demand, while organizers have made non refundable festival tickets available for €5. With major dance hits, Eurovision success, techno performances and popular regional music all coming together, Sea Dance is preparing to turn the final days of summer into a major celebration on the Montenegrin coast.
