The first accident happened on June 11 while she was traveling to the Slovenian Littoral for official duties. According to the president’s office, the incident involved a minor collision between two official police vehicles. Pirc Musar was traveling in the first vehicle together with two security officers, while another two security officers were in the second vehicle. No other vehicles or road users were involved in the incident, and no one was injured. Both vehicles and their drivers were able to continue the journey afterward.
The June incident was reported to police, but no misdemeanor proceedings were initiated. The accident was not publicly known at the time, and information about it emerged only after the later accident involving the president in the Kastelec tunnel. The second crash happened at the end of July and was considerably more serious. Pirc Musar suffered a fractured collarbone, while one of the passengers in the vehicle, Viktorija Krivolucka, was seriously injured. The incident attracted considerable public attention, particularly because questions were later raised about the security circumstances surrounding the president and her passengers.
The July accident occurred in the Kastelec tunnel and involved the vehicle in which Pirc Musar was traveling. At the time, the president’s office confirmed that she had suffered minor physical injuries, although later information revealed that the injury included a broken collarbone. Krivolucka, who has longstanding private and business connections with Pirc Musar’s family, was also in the vehicle.
