The highly anticipated Kettle Festival is coming to Homer Glen, Illinois, this Saturday, bringing together Serbian and Balkan communities for a day filled with traditional food, music, fun, and connections.
Organized by the Serbian Orthodox Church of St. Jovan Krstitel in Bellwood, Illinois, the festival is expected to bring together people from across the Serbian and Balkan communities for a celebration of tradition, culture, and community.
One of the highlights of the event will be the traditional kettle cooking, with the kettles starting at 8:00 a.m. and the tasting beginning at 12:00 p.m.
The festival offers a great opportunity to enjoy authentic Serbian cuisine, meet new people, reconnect with friends, and strengthen relationships within the Serbian and broader Balkan community.
