American Balkan Trade Center will start a strategic collaboration with the Illinois Chamber of Commerce
The American Balkan Trade Center (ABTC) has officially signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, marking an important new step in the organization’s mission to strengthen business connections and create new opportunities between the United States and the Balkan region.
The partnership agreement was signed Monday afternoon, bringing ABTC into the Illinois Chamber of Commerce’s statewide business network. The partnership opens the door to greater collaboration, expanded business connections, and additional resources for Balkan-American entrepreneurs and businesses throughout Illinois.
The Illinois Chamber welcomed ABTC as an organization focused on building strong relationships, creating business opportunities, and strengthening connections between American and Balkan communities.
“Thank you for building your life and business here in Illinois. We are here to help you and work together to build the American Dream that you have worked so hard for,” said Jimmy Clayton, CEO of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce.
“I personally want to thank Nick and his partners for becoming partners of the Illinois Chamber from day one. This was an immediate partnership, and you can see how much Nick cares about the people he works with and the partners around him,” Clayton added.
For ABTC, this strategic partnership represents an important opportunity to expand its work and create stronger economic ties between Balkan businesses and the American business community.
“This is a great day for the American Balkan Trade Center. This is another step toward building a future for Balkan people here in America,” said Nikola “Nick” Andreevski, one of the founders of ABTC.
“It means that we can provide more support, create more opportunities, and build powerful, long-term economic ties for Balkan businesses here in America, and the American business on the Balkans.” Andreevski added.
The Illinois Chamber of Commerce is an independent voice for Illinois businesses, advocating for policies designed to foster a competitive business climate across sectors throughout the state. Its agenda focuses on economic growth, business development, and strengthening Illinois as a place to build and grow businesses.
The American Balkan Trade Center (ABTC) is a nonprofit organization with a headquoters in Chicago, IL, Miami, FL, and New York City, but spread around all America. ABTC is dedicated to building a bridge between the United States and the Balkan countries by creating meaningful connections, strengthening professional networks, and fostering opportunities for collaboration between American and Balkan communities.
The signing ceremony was attended by Jimmy Clayton, CEO of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce; Laura Ortega-Lamela, Executive Director of the Illinois Chamber; Nick Andreevski, founder of ABTC; Luka Jovanovic, founder of ABTC; Boban Popevski, founder and president of ABTC; Filip Milojevic, founder of ABTC; Adriann Murawski, member of the ABTC Advisory Board; and Filip Jotevski, Executive Director of ABTC.
The new partnership represents another step forward for ABTC as it works to connect businesses, entrepreneurs, and communities and build stronger, long-term economic relationships between the United States and the Balkans.
