Arnold Schwarzenegger is taking on one of his most unexpected roles yet — Santa Claus.
The legendary action star plays Father Christmas in the upcoming holiday action-comedy “The Man with the Bag,” set to premiere on Prime Video on December 2, 2026.
The story follows Santa after his magical bag is stolen by a rogue elf, putting Christmas in danger. To get it back, Santa turns to a skilled thief from his “Naughty List” and puts together a team to recover the bag and save Christmas.
Schwarzenegger stars alongside Alan Ritchson, Awkwafina, Ken Jeong, Jane Krakowski, Kyle Mooney and Liza Koshy. The film is directed by Adam Shankman.
The movie also marks a fun return to Schwarzenegger’s Christmas-comedy roots. Nearly 30 years after starring in the holiday classic “Jingle All the Way,” Schwarzenegger is once again heading into the Christmas season — this time as the man himself: Santa Claus.
The trailer even features Schwarzenegger delivering his famous “I’m back!” line, giving fans a playful nod to his iconic action-movie career.
