Husband Appears in Court After Doctor’s Death
Mark Cain appeared before Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, October 7.

The court heard that a post-mortem examination had identified a blunt-force injury to the right side of Dr Cain’s head.
Medical examiners also identified another injury that could be consistent with compression of the neck.
Cain was remanded in custody following the hearing.
He was scheduled to appear before King’s Lynn Crown Court on Thursday, October 8.
The criminal proceedings remain ongoing, and the allegations against him have not been proven in court.
Norfolk Police said specialist officers were supporting Dr Cain’s family during the investigation.
Her relatives have also requested privacy.
