YouTuber Stops Stylish Man on New York Street, Discovers He Is Mayor of Pristina

A spontaneous street interview in New York City took an unexpected turn when social media influencer Feroz Khan stopped a well-dressed man to ask what he did for a living, only to discover he was Përparim Rama, the mayor of Pristina, Kosovo’s capital.

Khan, known on Instagram as @kann_journey, regularly approaches strangers whose appearance catches his attention and asks them about their professions.

This time, he noticed a man wearing a dark suit and complimented his outfit before asking how he earned a living.

The response revealed that his interviewee was not an ordinary passerby but the mayor of Kosovo’s capital.

During the conversation, Rama discussed his political ambitions and suggested that his next goal was to become Kosovo’s prime minister.

“My next mission is to become prime minister of Kosovo so we can fix the situation in the country,” Rama told the influencer, according to Croatian newspaper Jutarnji list.

He also criticized Kosovo’s current prime minister, Albin Kurti, saying he was not doing a particularly good job.

The unexpected interview offered viewers a glimpse into Rama’s political aspirations outside a traditional media setting.

As the conversation continued, Rama discussed his future plans and invited Khan to visit Kosovo.

Before the interview ended, the mayor addressed fellow Albanians in their native language and shared a message of encouragement with viewers.

“Believe in yourself. You can achieve your dreams,” he said.

Khan, whose Instagram account has approximately 1.4 million followers, shared the encounter as part of his popular street interview series.

The video also attracted attention in Balkan media, where Rama’s comments about his political ambitions and Kosovo’s leadership became part of the story.
