Croatian referees in UEFA competitions will play an important role in this week’s UEFA Conference League qualifiers, with three officiating teams from Croatia selected to oversee European matches.
The appointments include experienced Croatian officials who will take charge of return-leg matches in the second qualifying round of the competition.
Croatian Referees Receive UEFA Conference League Assignments
The first Croatian refereeing team will be led by referee Patrik Kolarić, who has been appointed to oversee the match between Azerbaijan’s Zira and Estonia’s Paide.
He will be assisted by Ivan Janić and Dino Knez, while Patrik Pavlešić will serve as the fourth official.
Another Croatian referee, Duje Strukan, has been selected to officiate the match between Moldovan champions Petrocub and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Borac Banja Luka.
His assistants will be Ivan Starčević and Dujo Sarić, with Ante Terzić appointed as the fourth official.
Third Croatian Team Takes Charge in European Match
The third Croatian refereeing team involved in the competition will be led by Mateo Erceg.
He will officiate the match between Norwegian club Brann and Romanian side Universitatea Cluj.
Erceg will be supported by Luka Pajić and Stipe Brajković, while Ivan Vukančić will serve as the fourth official.
