Former Miss Switzerland finalist Beatrice Keul has accused US President Donald Trump of raping her in 1993, according to a report released by Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee on October 26. The allegation is part of a broader examination of Trump’s past association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Keul alleges that Trump assaulted her in a suite at the Plaza Hotel in New York while she was attending a beauty pageant associated with the future president.

The White House has strongly denied the allegations, describing the report as politically motivated. Trump has not been criminally charged in connection with Keul’s accusation.

Former Beauty Queen Describes Alleged 1993 Assault

According to the House Democrats’ report, Keul was 24 years old when she attended the American Dream Pageant in November 1993.

She claims she met Trump and Epstein during a press event, where they allegedly offered to help her obtain a US visa and secure admission to New York University.

The report states that a representative of Trump later invited Keul to meet him privately in a suite at the Plaza Hotel.

Keul told congressional staff that Trump grabbed her from behind and raped her, allegedly leaving her with injuries, including bruising and bleeding.

She further alleged that Trump subsequently repeated his promises to help with her visa and education while pressuring her to remain silent.

According to the report, he told her, “The show must go on.”

Keul had previously spoken publicly about an alleged encounter with Trump in October 2024. At that time, she accused him of unwanted kissing and touching but said the incident had not escalated further.

Her account to congressional staff describes a more serious assault than the one detailed in those earlier interviews.

In October 2026, Swiss broadcaster SRF also published an investigation in which Keul described an alleged serious sexual assault at the hotel.

The allegations have not been established in court.

White House Denies Allegations as Democrats Demand Investigation

The new report was released by Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee, led by Representative Jamie Raskin, the committee’s ranking Democratic member.

The report examines accounts involving 11 women and states that five have directly accused Trump of rape or sexual assault in circumstances connected to Epstein.

These are allegations documented by Democratic committee staff, not findings of criminal guilt.

Raskin has called for an independent investigation into the allegations and the Justice Department’s handling of documents related to Epstein.

The White House rejected the report and denied the accusations against Trump.

A White House spokesperson said the president had been “fully exonerated of anything related to Epstein” and characterized the report as an attempt by Democrats to influence the political debate.

The administration also maintained that Trump had removed Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club years earlier.

The report’s release comes just over a week before the November 3 US midterm elections, when voters will decide control of Congress.

Trump’s previous relationship with Epstein and the handling of investigative records have remained subjects of political controversy.

Keul’s allegations add to the scrutiny surrounding those records, although the newly published report does not constitute a criminal indictment or judicial finding against the president.
