TV Premiere of the 29th “Zlatna Bubamara na Popularnosta” Scheduled for Broadcast on March 8th

The television recording of the 29th edition of the “Zlatna Bubamara na Popularnosta,” one of North Macedonia’s most recognized entertainment and awards events, will be broadcast on March 8 on Kanal 5 Television, allowing a wider audience to watch the annual spectacle after the live event held earlier in Skopje. The broadcast is scheduled for 19:45, bringing several hours of music, satire, and award presentations to viewers across the country.

The latest edition of the event was held on February 26, 2026, at the Boris Trajkovski Sports Center in Skopje, where the ceremony gathered numerous artists, performers, and public figures from North Macedonia and the wider region. The show was organized under the motto “Absolute Power – Absolute Entertainment,” combining satire, musical performances, and awards dedicated to the most notable achievements in Macedonian popular culture during the previous year.

The event once again confirmed its reputation as one of the most prominent cultural manifestations in the country, bringing together performers from different artistic fields and generations. The program included musical performances, comedy segments, and the traditional awarding of recognitions and lifetime achievement honors to figures who have left a lasting mark on the Macedonian cultural and artistic scene.

Among the performers who appeared on stage were several well-known regional and domestic artists, while the ceremony also featured the presentation of awards in multiple categories recognizing achievements in music, acting, and cultural production. The show was hosted by the well-known comedic duo Atanas and Tino, whose satirical commentary and sketches remained a central element of the evening’s program.

The “Zlatna Bubamara na Popularnosta,” organized by Radio Bubamara, has been held annually in Skopje since 1997, evolving into one of the most watched entertainment programs in the country and a major platform celebrating achievements in Macedonian popular culture, including music, television, film, sports, and theater.

With the television premiere scheduled for March 8, audiences who were unable to attend the live event will have the opportunity to watch the full recording of the 29th edition, which once again blended humor, music, and awards in a format that has become a long-standing tradition in the Macedonian entertainment landscape.
