A new artistic tribute dedicated to legendary Croatian singer Oliver Dragojević has been installed in Vela Luka, his hometown on the island of Korčula, nearly eight years after his death. The installation, placed at the town’s small harbor where he often spent time, has quickly attracted attention from locals and visitors.
The work, titled “Tek sad vidim što mi znači,” features a pair of glasses—symbolically connected to Dragojević’s younger years—positioned to face the sea, reflecting his deep bond with the place and the Adriatic. The tribute is described as an emotional and unconventional way of honoring one of the most important figures in regional music.
