At a time when the Macedonian diaspora is increasingly recognizing the need for stronger economic coordination and a unified business voice, the first meeting of the Founding Board of the Canadian-Macedonian Chamber of Commerce was held in Toronto, marking the launch of an initiative aimed at becoming a central hub for Macedonian business activity in Canada.
The Founding Board includes Milosov Lukaroski, Tea Pesheva, Diana Indovski, Ivan Lukaroski, and Kiril Kolemishevski, who are leading efforts to establish a more structured framework for economic collaboration among Macedonians in Canada.
According to the board, the meeting laid the groundwork for the chamber’s future operations, with a clear focus on supporting Macedonian entrepreneurs, professionals, and companies while fostering a connected and coordinated business community. The initiative is also intended to strengthen internal business ties within the diaspora and create opportunities for trade, investment, and cooperation between Canada and North Macedonia.
The Chamber is envisioned as a platform to promote entrepreneurship, encourage professional development, and build practical business links between Macedonian companies across both countries. Its goal is to establish a stable economic network capable of delivering tangible results through partnerships, investments, and knowledge exchange.
The Founding Board emphasized its commitment to developing the initiative into a long-term driver of economic connectivity, reinforcing the Macedonian business presence in Canada and deepening economic relations with North Macedonia.
The Chamber is open to membership and collaboration with interested businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals from both Canada and North Macedonia.
