Trump Jr. Heads to Banja Luka Early, Signaling Renewed U.S. Business Interest in the Balkans

Donald Trump Jr., son of U.S. President Donald Trump, is expected to visit Banja Luka, possibly arriving earlier than initially planned on April 9.

During his stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Trump Jr. is expected to hold meetings with officials from the ruling parties in Republika Srpska.

The visit is reportedly linked to potential investment opportunities involving companies he controls or collaborates with, as he has taken a leading role in the family business following his father’s return to the White House.

This trip could also signal a broader revival of business ambitions in the region. Previously, Trump Jr., alongside Jared Kushner, explored investment projects in neighboring Serbia, including a proposed “Trump Tower” development in Belgrade.

The visit is likely to attract political and economic attention across the Balkans, as it may lead to new U.S.-linked investments in the region.
