Macedonia2025 Summit Opens in Skopje With Focus on Growth, Leadership, Investments and the Diaspora

The 15th edition of the Macedonia2025 Summit is opening in Skopje under the motto “Beyond 2025: Accelerating Growth. Inspiring Leadership.” The two-day traditional summit brings together domestic and international leaders, representatives of the business community, institutions and experts, with discussions focused on economic growth, competitiveness, investments, infrastructure, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and the role of the diaspora in Macedonia’s development.

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski is scheduled to address the opening of the 2026 Summit, while Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski is also expected to speak during the first day. Introductory remarks at the opening are planned by Macedonia2025 leadership representatives, including Viktor Mizo, chair of the Board of Directors, co-founder Mike Zafirovski and executive director Nikica Mojsoska-Blazevska.

Ahead of the main program, President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova hosted a formal reception marking the opening of the summit. At the event, she presented recognitions for contributions by members of the diaspora. This year’s recipients were Dr. Ichak Kalderon Adizes, Elizabeth Naumovski and Antonio Trpevski, recognized for their work in science, business, culture, philanthropy and support for young people.

The recognition, awarded in cooperation with Macedonia2025, is given to prominent members of the diaspora for their contribution to preserving and promoting Macedonian historical, cultural and spiritual traditions and values, as well as strengthening national and state interests and capacities. The summit is also expected to cover leadership, innovation, the future of institutions and regional cooperation.
