Hristijan Mickoski, Prime Minister of Macedonia, welcomed Andrej Plenković, his counterpart of Croatia, at Ohrid Airport, marking the beginning of an official visit presented as confirmation of the strong relations and friendship between Macedonia and Croatia.
According to the reports, the reception at the airport was followed by a bilateral meeting between the two prime ministers, during which they discussed the development of cooperation between the two countries. The talks focused on strengthening political and economic relations, as well as deepening overall bilateral collaboration.
Both sides highlighted that the meeting represents continuity in the traditionally good relations between Macedonia and Croatia. The visit was framed as part of ongoing efforts to maintain close communication and partnership between the two governments.
A significant part of the discussions was dedicated to the European perspective of Macedonia, with Croatia reaffirming its support for the country’s path toward European Union membership. The talks also addressed regional cooperation and shared priorities within the broader European context.
The meeting between Mickoski and Plenković was presented as an opportunity to further advance cooperation across multiple sectors, while reaffirming mutual commitment to strengthening ties and supporting common strategic goals.
