French President Emmanuel Macron has sharply criticized Donald Trump and other foreign leaders over their comments about the France protests. He accused them of spreading false claims and using the unrest for political gain.

Speaking during a visit to Qatar, Macron condemned what he called the manipulation of information about the violence.

He described some foreign leaders’ remarks as unacceptable and stupid. When reporters asked whether he meant Trump, Macron replied, “Among others.”

The French president spoke as authorities prepared for another weekend of demonstrations across the country.

France Protests Spark Clash Between Macron and Trump

Trump blamed the violence in France on migrants, jihadists and communists.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also described the unrest as an invasion of extremist Islam.

However, analysts have rejected claims that migrants caused the protests.

Macron accused foreign politicians of using France’s problems to support their own political campaigns.

He also warned about AI-generated images showing violent scenes that never happened in France.

According to The Guardian, Macron said some politicians were spreading misleading stories during election campaigns.

The unrest began with largely peaceful demonstrations against rising living costs.

However, violence and looting later spread through several major cities, including Paris, Marseille and Lyon.

In Limoges, protesters set fire to the town hall and caused extensive damage.

French officials admitted that security forces lost control during Saturday’s violence.

The unrest also prompted several countries to issue travel warnings for France.

France Prepares for New Protests and Stronger Security

French authorities expect more demonstrations this Saturday.

The Yellow Vest movement plans to march through central Paris. Organizers hope to revive the large protests that began in 2018.

Student groups have also announced demonstrations demanding greater investment in education.

Macron warned that authorities would stop anyone attempting to cause further violence.

The government plans a major security operation, with additional police officers and possible military support.

Officials have already introduced temporary nighttime curfews in several areas.

These measures helped reduce violence in parts of Paris, Marseille and Lille.

However, Macron rejected calls to declare a national state of emergency. He insisted that France had enough resources to restore order.

The crisis comes just six months before France’s presidential election.

Macron cannot seek another consecutive term, and political tensions continue to grow.

Meanwhile, major French trade unions have called for nationwide demonstrations on November 5.

CGT union leader Sophie Binet warned that tougher policing would not solve the country’s problems.

She argued that the government must address the public’s anger through political action.

The France protests also reflect wider concerns about living costs across Europe.

Italy has ordered 500 additional troops to Milan following street violence.

As France prepares for another tense weekend, Macron faces growing pressure to restore calm while addressing the economic concerns behind the demonstrations.
