The Bosnian American Professionals Association (BAPA) has opened applications for its 2027 mentorship program, offering students and young professionals an opportunity to receive career guidance from experienced members of the Bosnian-American professional community.
The six-month initiative will run from January through June 2027, connecting participants with mentors who can share professional knowledge, practical advice and insights into career development.
Applications are open until December 1, 2026.
Who Can Apply for the BAPA Mentorship Program?
The program is designed for students and professionals who are in the early stages of their careers. Applicants seeking mentorship should be students or individuals within their first five years of professional experience.
BAPA is also inviting established professionals with at least five years of experience to participate as mentors.
Through these connections, the association aims to encourage professional development and knowledge sharing within its network.
Participants will have opportunities to discuss career goals, professional challenges and possible paths for advancement with people who have already gained experience in their respective fields.
Six Months of Professional Guidance
The mentorship program includes an orientation process, individual goal-setting and monthly conversations between mentors and mentees.
The structure is intended to provide participants with regular opportunities to exchange ideas, ask questions and receive feedback throughout the six-month period.
For younger members of the Bosnian-American community, professional mentorship can also provide an opportunity to develop relationships with experienced professionals who understand the challenges of building a career.
The initiative reflects BAPA’s broader commitment to connecting professionals and supporting the development of the Bosnian-American community.
Applications for the 2027 program close on December 1. Admission and mentor matching are subject to the association’s selection process, and submitting an application does not guarantee participation.
