St. Sava Academy Celebrates 25 Years at Annual Gala in Chicago on November 13

St. Sava Academy is marking 25 years of preserving Serbian language, faith and traditions among younger generations with its annual St. Sava Gala on Friday, November 13, 2026, at The Peninsula Chicago. The black-tie evening will bring together parents, alumni, supporters and friends to celebrate the school’s legacy and support its future.

For a quarter of a century, St. Sava Academy has helped children stay connected to their Serbian heritage through language, faith, culture and tradition. This November, the school community will gather to celebrate that milestone and look ahead to the next generation.

The St. Sava Gala Chicago will take place at The Peninsula Chicago on Friday, November 13. The black-tie event invites families, alumni, friends and supporters to come together for an evening dedicated to the school’s mission and future.

Building a New Home for the Next Generation

This year’s gala carries a special purpose: supporting the development of a new home for St. Sava Academy.

Organizers are encouraging the entire school community to participate, emphasizing that every ticket purchased and every donation made will help invest in the school’s future and its continued mission of passing Serbian language, faith and traditions on to future generations.

For those unable to attend in person, donations are also welcome, allowing supporters to contribute to the project from wherever they are.

The 25th anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate the generations of children and families who have been part of the academy while helping ensure that its cultural and educational mission continues for years to come.
